Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Dome-Ultra-B Camera G5 Dome Ultra Black

The Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Dome-Ultra-B Camera is an ultra-compact 2K Power over Ethernet dome camera for low-profile indoor security. Its black housing blends into dark ceilings and modern interiors. Moreover, the camera combines a wide viewing angle, infrared night vision, smart detections, and an IK06 tamper-resistant design. It suits offices, shops, hotels, reception areas, and other managed indoor spaces.

Product Overview

The G5 Dome Ultra records 4MP video at up to 30 frames per second. Therefore, it captures clear footage for live monitoring and recorded review. Its fixed lens provides a 102.4-degree horizontal view, while the diagonal field of view reaches 120.6 degrees.

Built-in infrared illumination provides night vision up to 20 metres. In addition, smart detection supports people, vehicles, and animals. The camera runs through UniFi Protect, which provides central management for live feeds, recordings, alerts, and device settings.

Power over Ethernet supplies power and network data through one cable. Consequently, installers can reduce cable clutter and simplify deployment. The camera includes a standard surface mount. However, optional accessories support junction box and flush-mounted installations.

Common Applications

The camera suits offices, shops, hotels, schools, apartment common areas, reception desks, and indoor corridors. Its wide view also works well in meeting rooms and customer service areas. Furthermore, the small housing supports discreet placement where a large camera may affect the room’s appearance.

The Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Dome-Ultra-B Camera works especially well in managed UniFi Protect systems. However, installers should confirm recorder capacity, network design, PoE availability, camera position, and storage needs before deployment.

Why Choose This Product?

The G5 Dome Ultra combines clear 2K video with a small, tamper-resistant enclosure. As a result, it provides useful indoor coverage without creating a bulky appearance. Its wide lens can also reduce blind areas when installers position the camera correctly.

Moreover, PoE simplifies cabling, while the 4.2W maximum power use supports efficient installations. Smart detections help administrators focus on useful events. Therefore, the Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Dome-Ultra-B Camera offers a practical solution for professional indoor video security.
